Coffee Junkie @ Junk, Chulia Street Penang(MOVED to Stewart Lane, rebranded as Daily Dose)

As all of you know, there are pretty a lot of cafes around Georgetown, some are kinda famous, but some are remained hidden.
I accidentally found this small cafe that located in Chulia Street when I was following my friends for a cup of coffee.
Coffee Junkie was previously known as The Daily Dose, which was located at Carnavon Street.
Now it has moved and merged with Junk, which is located at Chulia Street.
Since The Daily Dose, they were famous for their coffee, which is one of the best in Penang.

The only landmark located nearest to Junk is Laconic, it is located right next to Laconic @ Chulia Street

Why is it called Junk?
You shall see in all the following pictures

Coffee Junkie @ Junk

Some of the antiques are available for sale

A buddha statue located infront of the cafe

Basically everything here are what people called "Junk" a.k.a rubbish

For those who knows how to appreciate these stuffs, they can call them treasures!
The range are very broad, from old radios, TVs to typing machines and etc.

Don't forget about our main topic here, it is about Coffee.
The menu is hung on the wall.

An art piece made by the boss of Junk himself.

I ordered a cup of Iced Caramel Macchiato, I would say that it is better compared to some well known coffee house. Furthermore the coffee is kinda thick and with nice aroma, as you can smell from the outside of the cafe.

Most of the stuffs you can see here are really old, but they are really classic and antiques

An old typing machine, which is still usable

Elmo! Another art piece!

Some old stuffs hanging on the wall, the mask is kinda special though

Some parts of this cafe is kinda creepy though, sorry that I'm not really that "artistic" person.

This is what you will usually see infront of old Chinese wooden houses

Guess what? These are real eagle bones, and there is also a fresh one waiting to rot to bones slowly.

This doll head is kinda creepy though

This look kinda like those torture machines that used to torture witches like what we saw in the movies

Some junks are hanging around the ceiling, but don't worry, they are tight and steady.

An old radio and I don't really know what is that machine infront of the radio

This is such a unique and nice cafe to chill.
Not to mention that their coffee are quite nice, even foreigners love it too.
