Chai Diam Ma @ Lebuh Queen, Penang

Located at one of the hidden corner of Unesco Heritage Site, Chai Diam Ma is a hidden gem situated at Lebuh Queen (Queen Street) for many years without people realizing.

I've passed by this place quite often last time but never visit before. The word "Chai Diam Ma" means grocery store in Hokkien language which is rather Penang and classic. It is commonly seen in the 90s before all these Tesco, Aeon and other big hypermarkets exist in Penang.

Chai Diam Ma is also part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town. The exterior of the building can be easily identify as one also. From the wooden windows to the classic metal door, you can see a big sign written "Chai Diam Ma" - Cafe - Handmade -

Road Side Fish Head Bihun & Tom Yam Seafood Variety @ Jalan Bagan Jermal, Penang

If you are the type who are in love with hot and spicy soup like Tom Yam, Fish Meat Bihun and the sorts of pick, cook and pay kind of noodles, then you definitely will be interested in this post.

I've heard about this place opened and replaced the previous western food place. Then changed to a pretty common restaurant selling Fish Bihun. Then it didn't attract me at all.
One day, when I was looking for dinner with friends, I noticed it when I drove passed this place and finally entered this restaurant.
Road Side Fish Head Bihun & Tomyam Seafood Variety is located directly opposite St.Nicholas Home at Jalan Bagan Jermal. It can be easily spotted as it is located at the road side along Jalan Bagan Jermal.

The moment I entered the restaurant, I can smell a good aroma of sourish Tom Yam that instantly stirred up my appetite. They offered variety of different dishes from porridge, noodles, fried rice and many more.
Soup selections are milk broth, Tomyam soup or clear soup.
Noodle selections are like vermicelli, yellow noodle, instant noodle, porridge and many more.

I would say that the milk broth are rather milky and delicious. The combination of ginger, tomatoes, salted vegetable made the soup itself tasted rather appetizing and the richness of the milk soup went went with the combination and the fried fish was very fresh.

I ordered myself a bowl of Tomyam Yee Mee with quite a variety of ingredients selected from the tray. This big bowl of delicious Tomyam cost me only RM16.00 which I think it is fairly cheap if you were to compare to other stalls out there. I asked for less spicy tomyam soup so the spiciness was rather moderate, and the sourness of the soup is just perfect. I love how thick the tomyam soup was and I really fell in love with this dish from my first sip of the soup.

If you are a big fan of tomyam, you should really give this restaurant a hit.
I'm sure you will fall in love with it!

Wu Jia Zhuang Claypot Hokkien Prawn Noodle 吴家庄砂煲福建虾面 @ Siam Road Penang

I'm really a big fan when it comes to Hokkien Mee, something which is commonly known as Prawn Noodle in other states of Malaysia.

Hokkien Mee is quite a signature hawker food in Penang and you can basically find it anywhere around Penang.
Some restaurant owners like Wu Jia Zhuang decided to bring this Penang's signature street food to a whole new level, which is Hokkien Mee in claypot

Khidthung Thai Seafood Tomyam Restoran @ HsinChu Garden, Perak Road, Penang

Thai food has became rather popular in Penang due to the taste of sourness and spiciness that is so perfect to us Penangnites.
Recently I was invited by Chloe from Applefish.net to try out a new place that serves pretty nice Thai Food.

Khidthung Thai Seafood Tomyam Restaurant (想你泰海鲜大排档)is located inside HsinChu Garden, which is a small kopitiam hidden in a corner of Perak Road. If you were to know where was Pos Office Cafe previously located, HsinChu Garden is on the same row.

Stay Young with AstaRed Gluxanthin

Anti-aging is all this while a hot topic especially to people who are moving into 30s from 20s like me.
But I believe there are also 30s, 40s and 50s who are more concern on anti-aging products.
Recently I have came to know a skin specialist who are specializing in anti-aging, skin rejuvenating and whitening.
Meet Doctor Tan Wooi Peng, a General Practitioner wsii Skin who holds quite a number of certifications specialize in Skin, Weight Loss and Hair Loss Treatment.

Below are some of the tips that I gained during the interview.
I would like to share it with my friends and readers
When we talk about anti aging, we all clearly understand that everybody do age especially the obvious results of aging would be our on our skin.
But what really did concern us is what is the factor that speed up the aging process?
Through Doctor Tan, I've learned that one of the most common causes that speeds up aging process would be the SUN Rays UV.
The UVA from the sun that hits directly on our skin, reflected from mirror or any reflective object would also speed up the aging process of our skin. UVA basically appears everywhere as long as we are standing outdoor. And UVA can go through glasses even if the sun light hit our skin through glasses
