Papasan Canteen has been serving the KL community for years and now that they have expanded their business and having more outlets around the state. Now that one of the latest outlet opened in Sunway Mentari, people in Sunway can enjoy their signature food without the need to travel all the way to Kuchai Lama anymore.
Papasan Canteen specialised on their Japanese & Asian Fusion menu, offering all sorts of rice, noodle, sushi and western fusion dishes. When they first opened their outlet in Kuchai Lama it was always a long queue outside the cafe, especially during lunch or dinner hours.

I think this dish exist since the first menu and still being very popular up to this day. Featuring 3 big pieces of crispy fried chicken and covered in creamy Japanese curry, with the rice topped with smooth omu egg would make this dish perfect for a meal.

Truffle Oil Olio - RM16 We ordered this Truffle Oil Olio with slight spiciness which makes a great taste. The pasta was lightly seasoned but really fragrant with the truffled oil added. Pasta was al dente as it should be, with plenty of thinly sliced mushrooms which is just perfect. You can enjoy this dish even if you are a vegetarian. |

For this big plate of fried chicken for only RM18.00? Yes you didn't read wrongly, they are really priced reasonably for the portion of their food. The uniqueness of this dish is the wasabi tartar sauce that gives you a slight kick when you have it in your mouth. Definitely love it as I'm a wasabi lover. Perfect for sharing.
