Club Asahi Miami @ Soju Room Penang

There was another awesome party happened in Penang last week.
I am proud that I was invited by Nuffnang to attend this awesome party!
Not forget to thank Asahi Malaysia for throwing this party in Penang too!

Well, it is the ultimate Club Asahi Miami party happened in Soju Room Penang!
It was another great party and here goes the pictures to describe everything that happened that night!

Zi Zai Restaurant 自在饭店 @ Paya Terubong, Penang

Well, there was some food hunt with Steven Goh two weeks ago.
We also dropped by at Zi Zai Restaurant for some food hunt as well.
Our Hock Chai Dai Lou prepared some nice dishes for us.

They are available for Lunch and Dinner.

We went there during lunch time, there were some crowd as it was a Sunday.

部队锅（不对锅）

This dish requires one day of advance booking. It was one of the traditional dishes from Korea.
Where back to during world war 2, soldiers are usually cook everything in a pot and eat together.

The ingredients are kimchi, ham, luncheon meat, cheese sausage, cheese, carrot and etc.

Must try!

Stir Fried Sambal La La

This dish is not so spicy but rather appetizing. Cooking seafood in spicy recipes is always a good match.
The fresh lala is just so chewy that I could finish this whole plate!
Must try!

Stir Fried Bean Sprouts with Salted Fish

This is always my favourite dish when I'm having lunch or dinner in a restaurant.
Loving the crispiness of the bean sprouts, and it is just perfect with my favourite salted fish!

Fish Fillet with Claypot Tofu

This dish is so big portion that Steven and I could not finish it.
The fish fillets are big pieces and fresh. Definitely worth your money! 

Stingray Curry

Tumis curry is always my favourite, especially adding the curry into my rice and eat together with the smooth stingray meat. Well don't forget about lady finger which is so smooth and tasted perfectly with the curry too!

Highly recommended!

Asam Prawns

Asam is something that can make people feel appetizing, though it is kinda sour.
Cooking it with prawns is a perfect combination, made me sucking all the sauce out from the prawn shells.
Highly recommended!

Chilli Stir Fried Egg

The owner specifically want me to mention about this dish, saying that this is the dish that missed by all Ex Chung Ling High School students. Well, this is my first time having it, and kinda fall in love with it.

Though the papaya been stewed with other ingredients for quite sometimes, it still maintained its shape and the smooth chewy feeling. This dessert is good for skin and lungs, recommended for those who loves to smoke or always stay outdoor.

Dragon Fruit Soy Bean Curd

Dragon fruit is always my favourite fruit. Fresh dragon fruit juice ice blended topped with fresh dragon fruit and the smooth soy bean curd is just a perfect match, yummy!

Plum Sweet Potato Fries

This is one of their signature and best selling item, the sweet potato are naturally sweet but it tasted better with the plum powder and coating, definitely a must try!
Highly recommended!

Fish and Chips with Tartar Sauce

The homemade tartar sauce is definitely something that I would die for, it is just that the fried fishes were a little bit too hard, I guess I would ask for extra tartar sauce next time!

Mango Coconut Mango

Well, the chinese name of this drink may sounds weird, but the taste wasn't weird.
The coconut juice is fresh and it went perfectly with the fresh sweet mango.

Tang Bo Fu @ All Season Place pt1

One of the local dessert have been spreading around Penang.
It was started at Raja Uda Penang, then slowly coming into Penang Island and to the whole Penang.
Now this new branch is located at All Season Place, Farlim Penang.

This new store is big, nice interior and comfortable.

They also have different promotions now, even set dinner and teatime set, all in affordable price.

These cats deco are so cute aren't they? I guess the owner is also a pets lover.

 We started with some warm dessert, then some snacks and food.

Stewed Pear with Chuan-Bei

This dessert is not too sweet, even the pears are smooth and soft.

It suits even older people who have diabetes, definitely a good choice!

Salt Pepper Squid

This is one of my favourite dish in this restaurant!
The chewy feeling and crispiness is so addictive, you wont be able to stop once you have started!

Highly recommended!

Mix Fruits Chinese Herbal Pudding with Ice Cream

This Chinese Herbal Pudding is a bit bitter as the way it should be. Therefore, adding honey will be good for all these. Anyway, I prefer having this dish without the honey because the ice cream and also fruits are sweet enough to go with the herbal jelly.

Black Rice Soup Lotus Seed & Glutinous Balls

The rice ball is chewy, this dish is not too sweet, suits elderly as well.
It is best to have with their fresh coconut juice. 

Honeydew Mini Sago

Love the fresh honeydew balls which is naturally sweet. The chewy sago is also my favourite.
This dessert is just nice with the fresh honeydew juice.
