Golden Triangle @ Eastin Hotel Penang

Hi guys, it is April now!
What would you think of when it comes to the month April?
Now let me tell you, it is Songkran Festival!
In conjunction with the festive seasons in Thailand, Eastin Hotel Penang has come up with the theme of Golden Triangle for their April promotion.
Below are all the dishes that will be available for their Golden Triangle theme promotion.

Yam Talay
(Thai Spicy Seafood Salad)
I'm always into Thai version Seafood Salad, as the sour and spiciness of the dishes would be great to make me feel appetizing, always the best dish to start a meal! And this dish from Eastin Hotel Penang is nice! The mussel, prawns and squid are fresh!

Larb Ped
(Laos Spicy Duck Salad)
This is also one of my favourite dish from the food review this time.
It is not too spicy, tasted very nice as I'm a duck lover, perfecto for appetizer!

 Gaeng Keaw Wan Gai
(Thai Green Curry Chicken)
Green Curry is always my favourite Thai dish, and the chicken has been cooked really nicely and tasty!
This dish is really awesome except it is only a little bit too salty, still nice to me though!

Mohinga
(Burmese Fish Noodles)
This is my first time having this dish. It tasted kinda special as it is a bit of spicy and sweet, then squeezing the lemon into the noodles made it tasted kinda nice.

Or Lam
(Laos Green Vegetables Stew)
Yums! My favourite asparagus stewed with carrot, eggplant and other vegetables.
It tasted quite good, but only a little bit overcooked.

 Khao Mok Gai
(Laos Steamed Chicken Rice)
The main attraction of this dish is the rice, not the chicken.
The rice tasted kinda like Malay's Nasi Briyani yet it is still different. Special and tasty.

Khow Neaw Ma Moang
(Mango Sticky Rice)
Ah ha! My favourite sticky rice with mango! The mango here is kinda sweet, but the rice is not well cooked, or else it will be perfect. I wonder why the coconut juice is not that sweet. Hmmm.....

Tab Tim Krob
(Water Chestnut with Coconut Milk)
My another favourite thai dessert! love the fresh and sweet jackfruit.
The only problem is the coconut juice is not so sweet. Suitable for people who prefer their dessert less sweet.

Here's a picture of all the food.
Bringing the feel of Golden Triangle theme.
