In conjunction with Ramadhan, Sunway Hotel Georgetown also offering Ramadhan Buffet to celebrate this holy month with scrumptious feast by their experienced chefs.
You can choose to break your fast with Sunway Hotel Georgetown's wide variety of dishes on their buffet spreads available daily throughout this month of Ramadhan.

Ramadhan Buka Puasa feast is available for the month of Ramadhan from 20th June 2015 onwards until 14th July 2015. So book your table now to enjoy all the traditional Malay dishes along with Asian delights only at Sunway Hotel Georgetown.

Warung Kambing Panggang is one of my favourite dish of the night. The meat was juicy and tender, it went perfectly with the mint sauce and black pepper sauce prepared by the hotel. I also like how they marinated the lamb leg with spices and made it rather flavourish.

Pasembur Campur is available on the buffet spread. You can DIY and choose your preferred ingredients, then top it with the pasembur sauce and mixed all ingredients together to make a plate of delicious Pasembur.

When we talk about Ramadhan buffet, for sure we must not forget about all the delicious traditional sauce and sambal to go with our meals. Common sauce like Cincaluk, Assam sauce are those must have! Other than that, they also have all kind of kerabu for appetizers like Kerabu Kaki Ayam, Kerabu Ulam, Kerabu Ayam and Jelatah.

Sup Tulang Rusuk is also available on the buffet spread. I believe this soup is one of the very popular dish especially among our Malay friends where they will get to savour the richness of the soup boiled with the bones for long hours and making it more flavourful.

Warung Murtabak

Moving into the hot dishes, they have Daging Hitam Manis, Ikan Masin Nanas Lemak, Kacang Botol Goreng, Sotong Goreng Cili Kering, Kepah Goreng Berempah, and Pajeri Terung & Nanas. All the Malay dishes are rather unique and creative. I personally like the salted fish with pineapple and brinjal with pineapple very much due to its appetizing flavour as well as the sweetness from the pineapple.

Nasi Hujan Panas is also a must for Ramadhan buffet. I really like the presentation of the rice as it is colourful and tempting. Looking rather appetizing and delicious.

They also have Warung Koay Teow, the kind of Malay Kampong Style Fried Koay Teow.
The taste wise is of course totally different from the Chinese's version of Fried Koay Teow.

Warung Satay & Side Dishes

Ikan Kari Mat Zan, Ikan Goreng Sambal & Kambing Kurma dan Ubi are some of the hot dishes available. I personally like the Lamb Kurma very much as I'm someone who is very into Kurma Curry. Probably because the lamb here are really tender and they have cook it perfectly that it is not overcook and it was just nice.

Other dishes are Ayam Percik, Ayam Panggang Madu, Udang Tiga Rasa and Daging Gulai Darat. I'm very much into the Ayam Percik as it tasted really good. The combination of the spices are just nice that made the chicken rather flavourful and delicious. The dishes available here are not bad afterall, can even compete with the high class hotels.

Moving to the desserts, they have all sorts of cakes, puddings, and pastries as well as traditional Malay Kuih Muih and Bubur like Bubur Gandum, Bubur Pulut Hitam and Bubur Kacang. It is good that they offered variety of desserts on their buffet spreads with both Malay and western desserts so that the customer can have more choices.

The Pulut with Mango and Pulut Inti are both as good as it looks. The pulut are very "Lemak" (Rich in Malay) and the coconut milk added was very fresh that made them both tasted very delicious.

They also have tarts, cheese cake, chocolate cake that all tasted not bad. Especially the tarts available at the dessert corner.

Very nice fruit carving presentation

Other than hot dishes, they also have Assam Laksa in the action counter. You just have to order from the friendly chef and they will cook for you on the spot.

A bowl of delicious Assam Laksa

Their Goreng- Goreng Station offers all sorts of fried doughs, potatoes, bananas and more. All prepared and cook on the spot to keep it crispy and delicious!

Rojak is also available at the dessert corner. I'm really impressed by the varietiness of the buffet offered by Sunway Hotel Georgetown

The Ramadhan Buffet Dinner at Sunway Hotel Georgetown is priced at only RM52.00 nett(adult) and RM32.00 nett(child). Considering the varietiness of the buffet as well as the quality of the food. I would really say that the Ramadhan buffet here is very cheap!
