We were all saddened to hear that Ben's was no more. But also welcomes a good news that Plan B, which is under the same company, B.I.G Group has taken over the slot and introducing their all new a la carte menu this round!
After Plan B took over the restaurant, they have renovated the place and became cozier than before.
It is also more classy yet maintains the classic kind of feeling. Also perfect to be in St.Jo of Gurney Paragon Mall.
Some of the signature dishes are being recommended on the tent card and placed on every table.

We started with a little snacks before the meal. Skins On Fries With Dips (RM9.00) surprised us with 3 types of special homemade dipping sauces. It comes with Salted Egg, Singapore Chilli Crab and Lime Mayonnaise. We really like the salted egg dipping sauce though we know that it is really fattening. But we can't help as it was really great to go with some crispy hot fries. Shall say that the dipping sauces are really addictive, the Singapore Chilli Crab sauce was pretty impressive too!
Another creative dish would be this refreshing salad Kristy's Krunchy Kale Salad (RM18.00). It is served with hazelnuts and crunchy bits of peanut dressing as well as a childhood recalling snack, MAMEE!
This salad is rather refreshing and we also enjoyed the crunchiness we found in the salad. The sesame dressing that comes with the salad is rather addictive. Portion is good for sharing, or suitable for small appetite people.
Thanks to Plan B for preparing the photo props and lighting for us. It made our life much easier taking photos when it gets dark.
On that night, Plan B also brought over DJ Ramsey Westwood for a little entertainment and bring some heat to the crowd.
He was spinning when we have our dinner. He made the dinner more entertaining and fun.
One of our main is the tender and juicy Buttermilk Fried Chicken (RM33.00) that comes with a fluffy waffle, coleslaw on top and fries. We really like to chicken thigh they used on the dish. It was just perfect and not overcooked, maintaining it's juicy and tenderness while went well with the coleslaw and waffle.

Another main that impressed us was this Zucchini Spaghetti (RM22.00) that served with Thai Basil. Oh trust me, you will really fall in love with the spaghetti when you have it with the slices of cheese and the thai basil leaves that topped on the dish.
The whole plate of spaghetti was rather aromatic with the simple herbs they use. And the al dente was just how I like it. Simply perfect!
It was a pleasure to be invited to the event also and get a chance to meet the owner of the business.
He told us that with the launching of the new menu, Plan B has added a lot of local taste to their menu. Not only hawkers in Penang, he hopes that Plan B could be one of your choices when it comes to your meal planning. In Plan B, you could find your new local here with their newly invented and introduced a la carte menu.
A very cool combination would be this Asian Salmon Salad Bowl Rice (RM33.00). It was a real weird combination but surprisingly it was really good. Except where I personally don't like parsley in my food.
As you can see, there are edamame, furikake salmon, some greens, sesame and also sushi rice.
Dessert time!
We were presented with these 3 little cute desserts. They are Black Forest Pavlova (RM18.00), Jaffa Cake (RM15.00) and Springfield Donut (RM18.00).
We liked how it was presented. So tempting and beautiful that could really attract you to order from the menu.

With the newly introduced menu, we can now put Plan B into our considerations when we are planning for a meal. Whether is it lunch, dinner, breakfast, or any special occasions to celebrate, Plan B could be just perfect for that occasion.
