Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

I received this forwarded email, i am not so sure about it is true or not.
But i decided to blog about it too.
To those people who use keyboard and mouse everyday, please take good care of your own wrist.
Or else, you will get Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and end up going under a surgery that looks like these photos below.
It is damn disgusting ok?

And this is something I wanted to share to prevent from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
Daily exercise could help us to prevent from it.
But how? Let's see.
Exercise 1 - Wrist Flexion
Bend the hand being exercised backward (palm away from you ), as shown in the photos. With the fingers of the other hand, apply pressure.

Exercise 2 - Wrist Extension
Bend the hand being exercised forward ( palm toward you), as shown in the photos. With the fingers of the other hand, apply pressure.
Exercises 3 and 4 are similar to 1 and 2 except that an object, such as a pad provides the resistance to the hand, instead of your other hand.

Exercise 3 - Wrist Flexion against surface
With your arm held vertically, press your hand, palm down, on a firm surface, as shown in the photo.

Exercise 4 - Wrist Extension against surface
With your arm held vertically, press your hand, palm up, on a firm surface, as shown in the photo

Exercise 5 - (Radial Deviation)
Place your hand palm downward. Grasp the fingers of the hand to be exercised with your other hand (as shown in the photo) and twist the hand toward you. Keep the hand horizontal.

Exercise 6 - (Ulnar Deviation)
Place your hand palm downward. Grasp the fingers of the hand to be exercised with your other hand (as shown in the photo) and twist the hand toward you. Keep the hand horizontal.

P.S: i am so scare ok? these few days my right hand was so pain and tired.
Anyone tell me this is true? or fake?

I'm not so sure about the surgery photos but Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is real... and yes you can get it from using too much computer without resting or exercising your hands. The exercises shown are genuine, so you should do them.

I doubt that you have carpal tunnel if you're not on the computer like a computer programmer who works 16 hours a day on computer never take breaks kind. For regular people your computer and mouse use has to be pretty excessive and over a long period of time to have the same effect. Don't worry too much, but do the exercises... I do them all the time :)

That isn't Carpal Tunnel surgery. Notice the incisions at the base of each finger. In Carpal Tunnel Surgery, they make just one cut.

Those exercises have helped me though.
